Abaron is a male pureblood Sith Lord who served the Sith Empire during the Cold War with the Galactic Republic.

Biography

"So. Yet another acolyte stands in the shadow of our Academy. You must consider yourself privileged."
―Lord Abaron welcoming an acolyte[src]
At some point in his life, Abaron was trained in the ways of the Dark side of the Force. He had studied the Sith history and had noticed that the true-blooded Sith who had built the academy and erected the statues on Korriban, weren't as common as before, due to the Sith's way of taking slaves into training. Years later, during the time of the Cold War, a period of tension between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, Abaron visited the Sith Academy, desiring to learn the quantity of Sith blood within the instructors of the academy, as he feared the purity of the Sith was fading.

Behind the scenes

Lord Abaron first appeared in the 2011 Bioware MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. He is located on Korriban, in the Sith Academy, and is the giver to the mission Purity, consisting of scanning Arzanon, Ragate, Cestus and Solence. Upon the acolyte's return, Abaron will notice the holocron glowing white and that only one of the scanned Overseers is pure. When the acolyte inquires on his intentions, he states that he shall advise the Dark Council to replace or enslave the unpure academy instructors.
