Dashade are a sapient species.
Overview[]
The Dashade are tall humanoids from the planet Urkupp, destroyed during the Great Sith War in 3,996 BBY. Thanks to their exceptional resistance to the Force and to their combat prowess, this species has avoided extinction and now can be seen regularly all over the universe. Thanks to this partial Force-immunity and to their aggressive nature, the Dashade are often working as assassins for the Sith, although some can also be seen as combat instructors for the Jedi.
History[]
Once the Dashade homeworld, Urkupp, was destroyed during the Great Sith War, the majority of the Dashade were killed in the explosion. Among the few survivors were thirty-eight Dashade Shadow Killers, the most capable fighters of the planet. They were later placed in cryogenic suspension, to be revived only when their exceptional abilities would have been needed.
In The Old Republic[]
A Dashade warrior has been confirmed as one of the Sith Inquisitor companions, although no further information about him is known as of now other than his appearance.
