A '''decoration''' is an item that players can use to decorate their [[stronghold]]. Each decoration provides a [[prestige]] bonus and can only be placed in certain types of [[hook]]s.

==Decoration crafting==
Some decorations can be crafted, either by one character or by multiple characters working together.

===Prefabs===
There are 3 types of prefabricated items, or [[:Category:Prefabs|prefabs]]: Industrial, Synthetic and Universal. Industrial and synthetic prefabs can be crafted directly, the former by [[armstech]]s, [[armormech]]s and [[cybertech]]s, the latter by [[Biochem|biochemists]], [[Artifice|artificers]] and [[Synthweaving|synthweavers]]. Universal prefabs require the cooperation of at least two crew skills to craft. Crafting a universal prefab requires one of each of the following:
*The other two types of prefabs
*A fabricator crystal
*A fabricator design
Fabricator crystals and fabricator designs can be crafted by any crew skill.

There are 4 tiers of each prefab, ranging from MK-1 to MK-4. MK-1 to MK-3 prefabs can be exchanged for decorations at the respective fabricator droids. MK-4 industrial and synthetic prefabs, on the other hand, can only be used to craft the [[Universal Prefab MK-4]], which can be turned in to the martial decoration droid for some complex decorations. 

Each prefab tier is unlocked when crafting skill level reaches the required minimum:
