Lifts the target helplessly into the air, preventing all action for up to 8 seconds. Non-player, non-standard and non-weak targets heal rapidly while lifted out of harm's way. Damage will break the effect prematurely.

Force Lift is a Jedi Consular ability, trainable at level 7. It disables the target for the duration of this ability's cooldown, as long as it receives no damage, usually called a "soft cc". Enemies with Boss Immunity are immune to this ability.

To avoid accidentally breaking the effect with area attacks and damaging passives, it can be used on an outlying enemy removed from the others, or you can kite the others away from the controlled target.

For Jedi Sage, the duration is 60 seconds instead. With any meaningful alacrity stat, the cooldown will become shorter than the duration, allowing you to keep the target under control indefinitely. When combined with the utility that make Force Lift instant, it can also serve as an extra interrupt like [Force Wave] and [Force Stun] on non-boss adversaries.
