Forged Alliances is a story arc set between Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan. As the prelude to the SoR storyline, this arc introduces Theron Shan and Lana Beniko, who will accompany the player for the expansions to come, and revolves around a conspiracy against the galaxy involving Darth Arkous and Colonel Darok. It is divided into three parts and consists of a series of flashpoints:
- Part 1: Assault on Tython and Korriban Incursion
- Part 2: Depths of Manaan
- Part 3: Legacy of the Rakata
