Forum index > Armor vs. armor

For categories, we currently have what are essentially duplicates: There's Heavy Armor and Heavy armor; Medium Armor and Medium armor; Light Armor and Light armor. If there aren't any objections, I'm probably going to be unifying them all under Armor, since that's how they're presented in=game, and it's silly to have two categories with essentially the same meaning. So yeah, register objections or forever hold your peace and all that. :P I'm probably going to be jumping into it later this week. Completionist 14:25, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

I've been going with armor (and weapon names) in lower case. That's how most of the articles are already named/categorized and there's no real need to have Armor capitalized. It's not an actual item name and it makes it harder to link in articles, imo. When in doubt, I look to another game wiki and see what they're doing. Fist Weapon is capitalized in the tooltip but the article name is not . It doesn't fall under any of the special naming conventions, which is one of many policies that need to be added here. So those are my thoughts. Take them for what you will. ;) --Icon class jediknight Alianin T C 15:45, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Wow, I just paged through the categories (which, uh... I probably should have done first, but my brain never does things in the proper order), and since as you said, most of the already-made pages use the lowercase categories, it probably WOULD be less work just to move over the ones using uppercase. So I'll probably do that. Because despite my love of long "TO-DO Lists" and impossible projects, I do like less work. XD -- Completionist 16:03, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
