Forum index > Creating a Chat Panel page |

Had a quick look around and didn't see any wiki pages specifically about the chat panel. I had some ideas but didn't really know the best way to implement them.
There are so many things that can be done within the chat panel that I'm a little nervous about opening this can of worms, but hey, that's what a wiki is all about.
Categories I was thinking of could include: adjusting Chat Panel Settings (turning channels off and on, and assigning colours to the chat)
General controls - Scrolling, enter, linking items into chat, clicking on items in chat, the purpose of particular channels such as trade, the etiquette of General chat on an RP server, /commands such as manually going AFK or /invite, social /commands and what happens when you use them with a target or without a target and accompanying animations (a table for that perhaps?), creating new tabs, creating custom channels... I'm sure there is more but I can't think of them right now.
Oh, and by the way (yes this is a silly question, but it is not in the wiki that I can find) how does one leave a guild? My brother-in-law accepted a random invite, but doesn't know how to leave. Is it the same command as in WoW /gquit? Will have to get my Husband and brothers-in-law to form a guild with me so we can get that information fleshed out too... Qa'il 08:25, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- I started a Chat article for you. Go forth and edit. ;)
- It looks like the WoW guild commands work here in SWTOR. /gquit should let him leave the guild. /ginvite is currently the only way to invite new guild members. Stinks for people that would have no knowledge of that command. Hopefully they'll add guild UI enhancements soon. -- Alianin T • C 11:59, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
