For those who have not yet heard, several guilds on the Jung-Ma server came together to hold a massive open-world PvP event, called the Siege of Hoth. Videos detailing the event can be found on YouTube (Debrief VideoFuture of Jung-Ma Open-World PvP).

This event was certainly a first for SWTOR, and it sounds as if it certainly won't be the last. They managed to get over 200 people to participate, forcing the event to span two instances of Hoth due to the zone's population cap. Now such an event definitely has a place in the article for the Jung-Ma server, as well as the articles for the major guilds that organized and participated in the Siege event. That being said, the purpose of this project is to fully document SWTOR; the ESRB disclaimer of game experience changing during play can certainly have an impact on player experience, and as a result the game itself. Should we explore the possibility of documenting large-scale player-organized events, in their own right? Should we endeavor to better support the player community in addition to the game's basic data, now that the players of Jung-Ma have so clearly demonstrated that the game can take on an existence well beyond the basic data?

I'll be the first to admit I'm a bit of a romantic when it comes to information documentation and sharing; there's a reason I'm in school to be a librarian, after all. Perhaps I'm not thinking realistically about this subject. What are everyone else's thoughts? -- Heaven's Agent 07:45, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

I say we go for it, though in the future we may have to watch out for small-scale over-documenting. Several guilds and over 200 players is definitely noteworthy. -- Alianin T C 11:11, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
