Jonas Balkar is the Republic Trooper's Strategic Information Service contact on Nar Shaddaa, who took part in investigating a Republic battle droid prototype that had been used by the former Havoc Squad. Due to General Garza's orders, the Republic Trooper leaves Balkar in the dark on several vital details, but can take the option of defying those orders.
He also aids the Trooper and Aric Jorgan in locating the latter's former teammates, the Deadeyes, who are being used in an operation led by another SIS agent.
