PVP Seasons is introduced with Patch 2.4.3. Each season awards titles that can only be earned during that season.
Old Ranked Seasons[]
In the past, PVP Seasons used to be a contest in which players participated in arena matches to gain points and climb the leaderboards, which are sorted based on advanced class (Guardian and Juggernaut, Sage and Sorcerer, Scoundrel and Operative, etc). The aim is to get into the gold/silver/bronze brackets which award exclusive prizes at the end of the season.

New PVP Seasons[]
In Patch 7.2.0, after 14 Ranked PVP Seasons, due to the decline in player numbers and the toxic environment created by the system, as well as the combat style system being detached from origin stories, the developers decided to do away with Ranked PVP and switch to the new PVP Seasons, which is a reward system similar to Galactic Seasons. Rewards can be accessed from the PVP Season rewards window in the Galactic Guide.
There are 30 levels in PVP Seasons, and players need 300 points to advance a level. Completing objectives gives you 100 points each, while normal PVP gives up to 50 points per match (subscribers get double points). There is a weekly cap of 1000 points, so achieving max level requires at least 9 weeks. Up to 4 objectives can be completed per week, and subscribers get two more objectives to choose from.
Warzone points: 2 per medal earned on victory (4 for subscribers), 1/3 of victory points on defeat
Arena points: 1 per medal earned on victory (2 for subscribers), 1/3 of victory points on defeat
Players can also earn PVP Season Tokens, which can be used to purchase exclusive items from Giradda the Hutt. Up to 20 tokens can be earned each season, 12 from the track and 8 from achievements.
