Planetary Commendations were an early game commendation that can be earned by completing missions or defeating enemies on planets below level 50. They can be used to purchase specialty items from Planetary commendation vendors in the Supplies wing of the Fleet. Planetary Commendations had a max limit of 100 and no weekly earning limit.

Planetary Commendations were mission rewards that can be obtained by completing missions or defeating enemies on planets below level 50. They are added in the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion to replace individual commendations from each planet before they were removed in the Shadow of Revan expansion.

- Patch 3.0.0 (2 Dec 2014): Removed.
- Planetary Commendations were converted into Basic Commendations at a ratio of 1:3.
- Patch 2.0.1 (24 Apr 2013): Planetary Commendations now have a maximum cap of 100 (up from 50).
- Planetary Commendations now no longer have a weekly cap.
- Patch 2.0.0 (9 Apr 2013): Added.
