Red Opaque Crystals can be obtained through the gathering crew skill Archaeology. It can be harvested from Opaque Red Crystal Formations on Alderaan, which requires level 120 Archaeology or from level 25-32 Archaeology missions. There is also a chance to obtain Red Opaque Crystals from reverse engineering the appropriate modified color crystals.
