A resting zone is a location where a character enters a rested state. While in a rested state, characters gain double XP. Rested XP can be increased by logging out in a resting area. These areas are cantinas and player starships and strongholds. This feature was only available to subscribers prior to Patch 7.7.1, when it is made available for everyone.
