1st Cutscene -- Meeting Rivix[]
- Darth Rivix: Which way to the victory celebration?
- I didn't know you were coming.
- Player: I wasn't expecting to see you here. Is something wrong?
- Darth Rivix: As much as the sight of you improves my mood, I'm afraid I come with grim news.
- [Flirt] Look at you.
- Darth Rivix: On any other day... but sadly, today brings dire news.
- [Not this guy...]
- Player: ...Rivix.
- Darth Rivix: I know you must be weary after all you've accomplished here, but we have an urgent problem.
- I didn't know you were coming.
- Darth Rivix: We've lost contact with the team we deployed to explore the ruins of Darth Nul's fortress on Elom. It could be a simple malfunction, but...
- Darth Rivix: Given the importance of their mission and the site's interest to Darth Malgus, we should investigate immediately.
- I'm ready to go.
- Player: Manaan is secure enough--shall we take your ship, or mine?
- Darth Rivix: Ah, on that note....
- Refresh my memory on all this.
- Player: Remind me--Darth Nul?
- Darth Rivix: An ancient Sith, apparently--we have no other details. The artifacts Malgus has been gathering... we believe they originated from the ruins of Nul's fortress on Elom.
- Darth Rivix: Now--about our transportation.
- I don't need you.
- Player: "We?" I hardly need your help.
- Darth Rivix: Your confidence is well-earned, but many of the personnel we deployed to Elom were under my command--I feel an obligation to participate.
- I'm ready to go.
- Lana Beniko: I'll be your chauffeur for this mission.
- Player: I wasn't expecting you.
- Darth Rivix: I tried to persuade your... associate that you were in capable hands with me, but--
- Lana Beniko: But, I've not had the opportunity to work with our esteemed ally. I thought this would be the perfect time to become better acquainted.
- Darth Rivix: How could I refuse such a charming request?
- Darth Rivix: I have some final arrangements to see to--I'll meet you at the ship?
- Lana Beniko: He certainly has a way with people. We cannot trust him.
- So that's why you're here.
- Player: You think he might stab me in the back if you aren't here to stop him?
- Lana Beniko: He wouldn't succeed, regardless--I merely want to spare you the distraction. I'll focus on him, so you can focus on the mission.
- Rivix is on our side.
- Player: He's had more than one opportunity to betray me... I don't see any reason to doubt him.
- Lana Beniko: I think that is a very good reason to doubt him.
- I agree--he's a snake.
- Player: I'm with you--if he crosses us, we kill him.
- Lana Beniko: Naturally.
- So that's why you're here.
- Lana Beniko: Shall we? [Cutscene ends.]
