Standard-Issue Blaster Rifles are the default weapons for newly created Troopers prior to Game Update 5.0.0, and still remain the default weapons for starting Vanguards and Operatives, while Commandos start off with the Standard-Issue Assault Cannon. These are the only pre-KOTET weapons currently still in use.
