Biography[]

Darth Vowrawn was presumably trained as a Sith Inquisitor on the holy world of Korriban, or the Empire's capital of Dromund Kaas, as he possessed knowledge of Sith rituals.

Prior to the Great Galactic War, he occupied a seat on the ruling Dark Council

Decades later, Vowrawn was one of the Council's longest serving members, and had taken a Human male, Qet, as an apprentice. During the Cold War, Qet would order the construction of a massive statue of his master, likely to gain favor. Unfortunately, one of Vowrawn's rivals, Darth Baras, orchestrated a rebellion of the statue's slave builders. The structure would become known as the Unfinished Colossus. The clever Baras ensured his ties to the slaves' revolt were not traceable, preventing Vowrawn from taking action against him.

Approximately two years following the slave rebellion, Darth Baras had assumed the Dark Council seat of his master, Darth Vengean, shortly after the latter's death. Much to Vowrawn's dismay, his rival made a far more severe grasp for power -- Baras had declared himself Voice of the Emperor, the conduit for the supreme master's words. Albeit many of his fellows knew such was false, Vowrawn solely opposed Baras openly.

Discovering a vital component of Darth Baras' power base on Corellia, Vowrawn established his base of operations within a Republic military base, employing operatives acting as Republic personnel to mask his presence on the planet. Despite his efforts, several assassins were dispatched by Darth Baras to eliminate the Pureblood Sith. Fortunately for Vowrawn, Baras' former apprentice, now the Emperor's Wrath, dispatched each of the assassins, aided by the Emperor's Hand. Convinced of the Wrath's true allegiance, he revealed his true intents, and the pair soon mobilized to free a dark side apparition, whose wisdom and foresight allowed Baras to appear as the Emperor's Voice. Confronted by a cybernetically restored servant of Darth Baras, Lord Draahg, who imprisoned Vowrawn in a death field that would end the Dark Councilor's life in mere minutes. The Wrath and Draahg dueled for a second time, and the former once again claimed victory. Freeing Vowrawn, who in turn released the apparition, the Wrath departed to rendezvous with him on Korriban.

Once there, Darth Vowrawn entered the Dark Council's chamber within the Sith Academy, accompanied by the Wrath, interrupting Darth Baras's statement to his fellows. As master and apprentice faced one another, a brutal conflict followed, in which Baras was severely weakened by his opponent. Mocking his rival and expressing his relief at his death, Vowrawn led the Dark Council in acknowledging the Wrath's authority.

Later, Darth Vowrawn witnessed the duel between Darth Thanaton and his subordinate, Lord Kallig, and joined fellow Councilors Marr, Mortis, and Ravage in elevating the victor to their late enemy's seat.
