Zal Alloy can be gathered from a Durasteel Shipwreck node, which requires 350 skill in scavenging. It is most commonly found on Corellia and Ilum.

They can also be obtained from grade 6 scavenging missions. Additionally, there is a chance to obtain Zal Alloy from reverse engineering the appropriate level and type of gear.
